DAS.EDDA - Expanded Duty Dental Assisting, DAS

The Diploma in Applied Science major in Expanded Duty Dental Assisting program prepares graduates to become a member of the dental team. Students learn current infection control practices,basics of four-handed dentistry, x-ray techniques and skills needed to provide preventive oral hygiene services. Students enrolled in this program will have criminal background checks and drug screenings. Graduates are eligible to take DANB exam to become a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).
