AAS.CRJ - Criminal Justice Technology, AAS

The Associate in Applied Science major in Criminal Justice Technology prepares graduates for jobs in law enforcement, courts, prisons, jails, and business/retail security. Traits such as honesty, sound judgment, integrity, and a sense of responsibility are important in law enforcement. People who enjoy helping others, have strong communication skills, high moral and ethical conduct, and respect for others are important in any public service job. People who work in law enforcement are subject to criminal background and credit history checks, lie detector tests, and drug screenings. Fitness tests and driving license/records may be needed for employment.
